Self-kindness
There’s now a growing body of research showing self-kindness is essential to wellbeing. This important life skill can be learnt at any age or level of ability. Start engaging in your wellbeing, practice being Clam, Clear and Connected.
*Mindfulness: MBSR is standard for Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. MBSR is an evidence-based structured programme designed to help individuals manage stress, pain, and improve emotional wellbeing. The programme was developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in the 1970s. Over the years, numerous scientific studies have demonstrated its effectiveness in reducing stress, improving emotional wellbeing, and enhancing physical health. Research has shown that MBSR can have positive impacts on a wide range of conditions. Aspects of MBSR are included in Self-kindness programmes, including mindfulness meditation and focus and attention training.
Calm
Calm is introduces basic mindfulness steps to feeling calm. Each week you’ll receive a preset self-kindness goal to practice while learning aspects of mindfulness*. By the end of the programme you’ll cultivate self-kindness to reduce stress and increase calm.
Connected
Connected is about cultivating a holistic or broadened view of wellbeing that is multi-dimensional, encompassing more than just physical health. Connect with Kind Caller each month to advance your practice, through self-discovery, journaling, monthly insight and conversation.
Clear
Clear is about staying focussed and resilient with purpose. Every two weeks you’ll start a new practice to help meet your self-kindness goal which includes learning new insights about mindfulness that are important to you. By the end of the programme you’ll cultivate self-kindness practices that work for you.
